About the Role

BMD Urban is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our high-performing team. As a key member of our operations team, you will work closely with the Project Manager to achieve excellent productivity and program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent.
  • Extensive civil construction background with demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Desirable Skills
  • Certificate IV in Civil Supervision or equivalent.
