**Job Opportunity:**

A full-time relief position is available for a professional to work across various residential facilities in a relief capacity.

**About the Role:**

The successful candidate will be flexible with travel and staying overnight at different locations where management relief is required throughout New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory.

Reporting to a care development manager, you will work with a team of people who focus on solutions, use their flexibility and creativity to deliver optimal outcomes for customers, and strive to make it easy for those they support every step along the way.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

  • Providing continued quality clinical and non-clinical care and customer services within the facility for residents, their family, and social networks.
  • Managing the operational budget and reporting any variances of concern promptly to the relevant manager.
  • Completing reports as requested by the manager and attending meetings as required.
  • Promoting and maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Working collaboratively with facility team members to achieve desired outcomes.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in nursing, post-graduate qualification desirable and a minimum 5 years of clinical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years management experience leading multidisciplinary clinical and non-clinical teams within aged care.
  • Management qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of aged care quality standards.
  • Demonstrated change management experience within aged care settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience managing risk within aged care settings.
  • Excellent organisation, delegation, and communication skills.
  • Relational leadership skills that foster a culture of best practice and high performance.
  • Ability to work within and promote organisational values.
