Occupational Therapist Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to support rehabilitation and return-to-work outcomes within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will manage caseloads with the support of Rehabilitation Assistants, applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes.
  • You will develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees.
  • You will collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals.
  • You will conduct assessments such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
  • You will deliver the virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to apply
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy
  • Strong time management skills
  • Current valid Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
