We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our kitchen team as a Food Service Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage division.

Located on Whitsunday Island, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional results. As a member of our kitchen brigade, you will work closely with our talented chefs and cooks to create delicious meals for our guests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen, as well as supporting the chefs in their daily tasks. This will include washing dishes, pots, utensils, and appliances, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be required to assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and other administrative tasks as needed. We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, able to work effectively as part of a close-knit team, and who is flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Please note that previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar physical role is preferred, but not essential. What is important is a strong work ethic, good teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn and grow with our company.
