Job Title: High-Performance Marine Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned High-Performance Marine Project Manager to lead our flagship marine infrastructure project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding engineering teams in delivering complex offshore operations.

  • Installation of 200t precast intake structures for a new seawater supply plant
  • Laying of a 2m diameter, 140m long HDPE outfall diffuser pipeline
  • Coordination of offshore piling, drilling, and grouting works
  • Oversight and support of complex temporary works and subsea diving operations
  • Supporting marine logistics and offshore scheduling

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance to construction delivery teams to ensure successful project completion
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure adherence to financial and contractual parameters throughout the project lifecycle
  • Program and schedule works, plan and review heavy lift studies, and prepare weekly and monthly reports
  • Manage budgets and forecast costs to maintain a healthy financial position
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a senior project engineer in marine construction for contractors
  • Background in piling, heavy lifting, marine logistics, tunnelling, or underwater installations
  • At least 5 years of experience in a project engineer or leadership role within civil/marine environments in Australia
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in construction (civil/structural/marine) or related field
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
  • Deep understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards and best practices
  • Ability to operate with confidence and authority on technically challenging scopes
