Job Title:

Offshore Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Offshore Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of a well boat. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of the vessel and crew.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee cargo operations, maintain water quality, and manage day-to-day activities.
  • Safety and Compliance: Organize safety drills, conduct emergency muster training, and ensure all safety systems are operational.
  • Leadership and Crew Supervision: Train and assign duties to deck crew members, ensuring efficient task execution.
  • Communication and Reporting: Ensure effective communication with the Captain and shore-based management, reporting on operational issues and safety concerns.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Deck Officer qualification according to company competence and training matrix.
  • Norwegian Medical Certificate.
  • Global Operator Certificate (GOC) / GMDSS certification.
  • STCW-78 Basic Officer Safety Course.
  • STCW A/VI/4-2 Medical Care.
  • STCW A-VI/5 Ship Security Officer.
  • STCW A-VI/6-2 Designated Security Duties.
  • ECDIS certification.
  • At least 1 year of well boat experience on deck or on bridge.
