Security Officer Role

This position is to provide security services at the Caloundra Shopping Centre, supporting all the establishments' tenants, guests and visitors.

  • Key responsibilities include building key tenant familiarisation and relationships, managing access, responding to client requests, ensuring safety and security for the site, managing emergency situations and demonstrating pro-active security awareness.
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must demonstrate that you have the skills, experience and appropriate certification within the following areas:

  1. Current Security Licence in NSW/VIC/SA/WA/ACT/QLD
  2. Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
  3. Previous experience in Retail Security is welcomed but not essential
  4. Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
  5. Ability to take ownership of the service delivery under your control
  6. Ability to complete reports using various platforms
  7. Excellent presentation, well-groomed and corporate appropriate
  8. High level problem solving skills
  9. Ability to respond to emergency situations
  10. Valid work rights in Australia
  11. Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours
  12. Availability across 7 days/nights
