Job Title: Clinical Care Specialist

You will play a pivotal role in delivering person-centred care, operating under the direct or indirect supervision of a registered professional, while adhering to relevant legislation and standards of practice.

The position is available on a permanent, temporary, or casual basis with full-time, part-time, and negotiable hours across various services. You will be based on the Sunshine Coast and hinterland, from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north, as part of an organisation that prioritises human rights and dignity.

Main Responsibilities
  • Foster high-quality, safe services and workplaces by adhering to defined quality standards, health and safety policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain adherence to Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) – State 2015 – Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 3 and Queensland Public Service values.
  • Take proactive measures to ensure workplace and patient safety, actively participating in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace, and notifying relevant responsible officers when concerns arise.
