Procurement Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Professional to join our team in the role of Technical Procurement Officer. This full-time position is ideal for a driven individual with a strong background in industrial manufacturing, preferably within the material handling sector.

  • Manage the technical procurement of materials, components, and equipment to support production and engineering operations.
  • Source and procure technical materials and equipment for manufacturing and engineering use.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure correct procurement of components.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment through ERP systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and warehouse teams to align procurement with operational needs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in procurement and inventory control.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a technical procurement role within an industrial or manufacturing environment (material handling experience highly regarded).
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Pronto, Oracle, or similar).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
  • A technical qualification in manufacturing, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
