Job Overview

The Inventory Materials Management Specialist provides direct output support to the Regional Supply Chain through establishment and maintenance of effective inventory management strategies.

  • Develops and implements optimized stock holding strategies for inventory materials
  • Maintains accurate inventory classification of materials based on criticality and type
  • Runs regular inventory management reports and analyzes usage trends
  • Drafts weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required
  • Supports additional tasks and responsibilities delegated by the Manager, Regional Supply Chain
  • Identifies and implements opportunities for common supply across operational assets
  • Manages the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process
  • Monitors and manages the repairable/rotable process across operational assets

About You:

  • You have a proven ability in verifying and analyzing data
  • Prior experience in inventory control/management, preferably within the mining industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you can effectively liaise with teams
  • You have demonstrated experience working with SAP
  • Familiarity with Oniqua Analytics is highly regarded
  • You possess a strong understanding of supply chain operations and material management frameworks
  • Your intermediate Excel skills enable you to manage and analyze data effectively
  • You are familiar with Repairable/Rotable processes and component lifecycle management
Key Qualifications

We seek individuals with a solid foundation in inventory management principles, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. Prior experience in the mining industry is advantageous.
