Job Summary

The Technical Support Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical documentation of the customer's environment. They are responsible for identifying complex issues and escalating them using established processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent collaboration skills, able to work with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships, credibility, and trust. You should also possess strong negotiation and influencing skills, as well as the ability to meet deadlines.

You will be responsible for diagnosing technical issues and leveraging existing relationships to support timely resolution. Additionally, you will develop and maintain an Issue Resolution log to track common errors and champion process improvement.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience. ITIL certification and Australian citizenship are also required, as well as the ability to undergo a Police Check and obtain clearance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation of the customer's environment
  • Identify complex technical issues for escalation and use established processes
  • Diagnose technical issues and leverage existing relationships to support timely resolution
  • Develop and maintain an Issue Resolution log to track common errors and champion process improvement
