Gain Practical Experience in Metallurgy

As a Metallurgy Student, you will be provided with the opportunity to gain practical experience at our Jaguar Operations site. You will work within our Processing team and learn from industry experts based on our mine site near Leonora.

The vacation program is designed to complement your academic background with hands-on experience. The program runs for circa 3 months and provides a unique chance to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting.

About Our Operations:

  • Jaguar Operations is an established underground zinc, copper, and silver mine located 65 km north of Leonora in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia.
  • The operation includes a 600ktpa processing plant, as well as surface and underground infrastructure, and has been in production for more than 10 years.
  • We employ more than 250 people and operate a FIFO workforce from Perth to our camp facilities 10 minutes from site.

About You:

  • You are currently enrolled in a Metallurgy Degree or Similar qualification.
  • You hold a current driver's license.
  • You possess strong communication skills.
  • You are highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic.
  • You have good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
