Metallurgy Professional Development Opportunity

We offer a unique opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience in multiple gold processing plants, with mentorship from experienced mining professionals. This role provides exposure to various processing functions and plant optimisation, allowing you to develop into a well-rounded Metallurgist.

  • Gain practical experience across multiple processing plants, including four plants producing over 5mtpa combined.
  • Participate in plant optimisation and all processing functions, developing your skills and expertise.
  • Be involved in metallurgical procedures and sampling, ensuring accurate data and results.
  • Receive mentoring and guidance from experienced mining professionals, providing valuable insights and support.
  • Develop into a skilled Metallurgist, equipped with the knowledge and skills required for a long-term career in this field.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
  • Practical experience or vacation work, which is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong computer literacy skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of operation.
  • A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence, enabling you to travel to different sites.
  • A National Police Clearance, valid within the last 12 months.
  • The ability to pass our pre-employment process, including medical and drug screening, and right to work checks.
