Forensic Examiner Opportunity

This position involves providing expert forensic support to investigations and conducting crime scene examinations and analysis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing evidence, providing advice on forensic matters and developing and delivering forensic investigation training and capacity building activities.

The role requires strong technical skills, knowledge of forensic science and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct crime scene examinations and analysis
  • Provide accurate and professional forensic evidence to the courts
  • Collaborate with other investigators and stakeholders to gather and analyze evidence
  • Develop and deliver forensic investigation training and capacity building activities
Requirements
  • Australian citizenship
  • Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Formal qualifications in a relevant science/forensic discipline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
