About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Property and Procurement to join our team at Sacred Heart Mission. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in overseeing the management and expansion of our property and procurement activities, in support of our Strategy 2030 goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of all SHM properties and facilities
  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure efficient deployment of financial resources
  • Manage property leases, maintenance, contracts, and fleet
  • Develop and implement SHM's sustainability practices, including energy efficiency and waste reduction initiatives
  • Provide direct leadership and guidance to a small team of two, overseeing facilities, reception, and administration
Essential Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, project management, or a similar field
  • Experience in property and procurement, including managing projects, contracts, and operations
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to support and manage a team
  • Commitment to a person-centered, strengths-based, and culturally responsive approach in your work
