Customer Service Officer

About the Role

This permanent part-time position involves working a 24/7 roster within a high-volume contact centre. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced customer service professional to join our team.

The role requires answering enquiries through two channels at our organisation:

  • Switchboard responsibilities include responding to internal and external calls, overhead paging of emergency procedures, and maintaining contact directories.
  • Call Centre responsibilities include scheduling appointments, handling complaints, troubleshooting problems, and providing consistent information to callers.

We manage approximately 2000 calls per day.

Your Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a high-volume inbound call centre and working in a busy front-line customer service-based role is essential.

About Our Department

The Customer Contact Centre is the first point of contact for many consumers of our organisation via the main hospital line, and our outpatient appointment service.
