
Community Health Specialist

This is a casual, ongoing position available for an experienced registered nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes.
- We are seeking skilled professionals with previous experience working in the community, delivering a broad range of nursing care and interventions.
This position requires strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families, providing education and support as needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have:
- Comprehensive nursing knowledge and experience in health assessments, chronic wound care, and medication administration.
- A patient-centred approach, using competent IT skills and literacy to document patient information.
- Ability to work autonomously, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Working with children check/DCSI or equivalent.
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- At least 2 Years' recent acute experience, with the ability to identify client deterioration.
