Animal Health Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with proven customer service and animal health/nutrition sector experience.
You will be responsible for driving the growth of the Animal Production Strategy in Southern NSW, supporting branches such as Wagga, Boree Creek, Corowa, Culcairn, Ganmain, Grong Grong, Henty, Holbrook, Junee, Mangoplah, Rutherglen and Temora.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Providing professional animal production sales and technical advice to staff and growers.
- Communicating and supporting Branch staff, Region Managers and Key Account Managers to implement and expand the Betta Livestock Services offering.
- Developing and implementing animal production business and sales plans to capture market growth opportunities.
- Developing key customer management plans with livestock producers.
- Contributing to internal staff training workshops.
- Coodinating producer information workshops.
- Maintaining an industry and internal network.
- Championing safety and compliance requirements.
You will have a tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science or equivalent (majoring in Animal Production/Nutrition), complemented by experience in Animal Health/Nutrition (preferably in an advisory capacity).
Other skills and experiences include; customer service and account management; relationship building; identifying opportunities for growth; strong communication and problem-solving skills; effective interpersonal skills.
