Job Description

We seek a seasoned Facilities Maintenance Director to lead maintenance activities at our Erskine Park site. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of all facilities and automation solutions. You will foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 5-6 personnel, including one team leader.
  • Oversee suppliers and contracts, ensuring timely service records and prompt resolution of breakdowns.
  • Support upcoming projects and new installations.
  • Maintain compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage annual maintenance budgets and expenditure.
  • Develop and execute a site preventative maintenance program.
  • Assess contractor performance and negotiate vendor contracts.
  • Maintain material handling equipment (MHE) and minimize downtime to prevent operational disruptions.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced maintenance professional with a background in both distribution and production environments. Your skills should include:

  • Experience in developing site preventative maintenance programs.
  • Effective contractor management.
  • Able to manage high volumes of scheduled works efficiently.
  • Strong technical knowledge and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft software products.
