Our organisation is seeking an IT Support professional to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to sales growth.

About the Role

This role supports a successful team by developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers. You will work with our sales team to support the sales process from proposal to close in a fast-paced environment where you can hit the ground running and contribute directly to the team's success.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, quoting and reviewing hardware requests, liaising with external suppliers and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of orders to customers.
  • Planning and prioritising sales support activities towards achieving agreed business goals, whilst managing your time and productivity effectively.
  • Identifying sales leads and escalating them to Business Development Managers.
  • Maintaining sales statistics, records of sales performance and the customer database.
  • Providing administrative support for the production of tenders, bids and other sales-related documents.
  • Receiving, handling or escalating customer complaints related to the sale of our products/services.
  • Displaying a high level of operational discipline, ensuring all processes, policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years' experience within the ICT sector who possesses sound IT hardware product and services knowledge, excellent customer/vendor relationship building and management skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
