Procurement Strategist
Job Summary:
This is a senior procurement role responsible for delivering high-quality procurement services to government agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement management principles, policies and legislation, and demonstrated leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate procurement planning and sourcing strategies.
• Provide strategic advice on innovative procurement solutions that deliver increased efficiencies and outcomes for Government.
• Supervise and support a team of procurement advisors delivering procurement services to government agencies, including preparing procurement planning, sourcing and contract administration documentation.
• Collaborate with clients to achieve effective and efficient procurement processes and outcomes.
• Prepare documentation demonstrating a high degree of attention to detail, including procurement documentation, reports and briefs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Advanced Diploma of Procurement Contracting or relevant qualifications.
• Completion of, or progress toward, an Advanced Diploma of Procurement Contracting or relevant qualifications will be well received.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and constructively.
• High-level written skills with the ability to prepare documentation demonstrating a high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to supervise and support a team of procurement advisors delivering procurement services to government agencies.
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
