Program Coordinator for Youth Activities

The organization is seeking a dynamic Program Coordinator to develop and deliver fun and educational activities for kids aged 6-14 about pet care, animal welfare, and the environment.

This casual position will work closely with an Educator in designated areas to deliver youth programs, which may include:

  • Weekend youth events
  • School holiday workshops
  • After-school workshops
  • Spring break camps
  • Summer camps
  • Classroom presentations

Duties include ensuring participant safety, taking attendance, and providing first aid when required. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and animals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging activities for youth at designated locations
  • Ensure participant safety and maintain accurate records
  • Provide basic first aid and report incidents as necessary
  • Promote inclusivity and respect among participants
  • Communicate with parents and educators to coordinate events

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, patience, positivity, and leadership qualities. This role requires physical demands, including lifting up to 25 lbs, pushing, pulling, and participating in outdoor field games at camps/workshops.
