About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for coordinating the public interest disclosure program under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010.
  • Your day-to-day activities will include assisting the Manager, Ethical Standards, coordinating correspondence, risk assessments, and support activities with the Public Interest Disclosure (PID) support officer.
  • You will undertake high-level conduct assessments, preliminary inquiries, and reviews related to alleged corrupt conduct.
  • In addition, you will provide advice on corruption prevention strategies and incidents involving corrupt conduct.
  • Liaising with external agencies, including the Queensland Ombudsman's Office and law enforcement bodies, is also an important aspect of this role.
  • Maintaining accurate records, case management systems, and reporting, including the Queensland Ombudsman's PID database (RaPID), is essential.
