Data Insight Leader Role

The Data Insight Leader will partner with strategy and business teams to identify high-impact use cases and develop reusable, well-documented data assets to drive actionable insights and portfolio growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Modelling: Design and develop reusable data models in Looker that provide a unified view of marketplace performance across the portfolio.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Utilise dbt to develop and maintain data pipelines in BigQuery that extract, transform, and load data from various sources, harmonising schemas and ensuring data quality.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyse data across the portfolio, identifying trends and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Predictive Modelling: Develop predictive models and algorithms that leverage shared data to forecast key metrics and inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience integrating and standardising disparate datasets, resolving data quality issues across the portfolio.
  • Exceptional SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analysing large datasets within BigQuery, with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
  • Experience designing and implementing flexible, scalable data models for multiple portfolio businesses, promoting standardisation and reusability.
  • Expertise in dbt for transformation and LookML for data modelling in Looker.
  • A strong understanding of business strategy and ability to translate needs into data-driven solutions.
