
Local Road Asset Coordinator

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and coordinating with the Traffic Control Team during the marking process.
The role involves understanding Council heavy patching treatment matrix and priorities, as well as being able to mark and quantify heavy patching areas to allow for accurate quoting of repairs. All heavy patch areas are to be numbered and documented in a spreadsheet for reference.
A key aspect of the job is preparing and delivering Request for Quote (RFQ) to Local Councils Procurement policies, once the RFQ is complete, award and monitor the selected heavy patching contractor to ensure compliance with Local Councils Engineering standards.
The Assets Program Officer will also be responsible for reporting and photographing all heavy patching before and after works to Transport for NSW (TfNSW) and other grant bodies, delivery of Shoulder and Table Drain Maintenance Program, developing a program with Condition rating of council's shoulder and table, prepare and deliver Request for Quote (RFQ) to Local Councils Procurement policies for the delivery of Shoulder grading and table drain maintenance, deliver Order of Shoulder Maintenance Program to both external contractor and in-house maintenance crew, report and photograph all road shoulder and table drain maintenance before and after works to TfNSW and other grant bodies.
The ideal candidate will have Class C Driving License Holder, able to work independently with minimum supervision, good time management, development of detailed programs for delivery of works, 3-to-5-year experience in road maintenance, report to Asset Management Team but will be heavily collaborate with Civil Construction and Maintenance Section, engineering qualifications, To apply, you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
