Maternal Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced female Aboriginal maternal support worker to join our Alukura Women's Health team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with midwives to improve maternal and infant outcomes by providing social, emotional and cultural support to women in pregnancy and until six weeks following birth.
Key Responsibilities- Foster relationships with clients to maintain ongoing contact and confirm follow-up arrangements
- Assist with transport, support and linkage to social services and cultural advocacy
- Partner with midwives to provide comprehensive maternity care
