Job Title: Facilities Operations Centre

Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead the development and operation of our newly established Facilities Operations Centre (FOC). The FOC will be responsible for round-the-clock monitoring of our data centre's physical infrastructure and serve as a critical facilitator for Large Scale Events and Critical Site Events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and oversee the data centre's Amazon facilities infrastructure platform to ensure seamless operations.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external teams, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement protocols designed to enhance team performance, including communication and escalation procedures.
  • Contribute to outage post-mortem analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping practices.
  • Support emergency recovery efforts through coordination and communication.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1+ year of experience working with Building and/or Electrical Platform Management Systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in Data Centre Engineering/Operations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working in a large-scale data centre and 3+ years of experience in a NOC (Network Operations Centre) or similar environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Access).
