We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Fixed Plant Fitter for a permanent full-time opportunity based at our KMS Broome site. This role entails preventative and breakdown maintenance on our Dozer Mining Unit (DMU). Working closely with other members of the site maintenance team, this role will report to the Maintenance Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilise organisational skills to ensure you are stocked with the required parts & tools to undertake work on site.
  • Complete scheduled repairs and maintenance of fixed plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner using correct manual handling techniques.
  • Perform diagnostics, problem solving, and fault finding accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Strive for continuous improvement by identifying, interpreting and repair for reuse of any parts and accessories.
  • Effectively work and communicate with other team members & clients on site to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines.
  • Able to work self-sufficiently, part of a team, autonomously, and conduct works in a professional manner.
