Doral Mineral Sands Pty Ltd (DMS), mines and processes heavy mineral sands at Picton, Yalyalup and Keysbrook in the Southwest of WA. We are a medium sized business with a strong focus on our core values of safety, integrity, sustainability and collaboration.

This role will provide an excellent opportunity if you rate Lifestyle over FIFO, enjoy living in the South West, and want to be a valued and integral part of a successful mining operation.

Reporting to the Production Superintendent, based at our Picton (Bunbury) site, the ideal candidate for this role will have processing plant operation experience.

The position will be responsible for the successful completion of the following duties and roles:

  • Continually monitor the plant to ensure optimal operational output
  • Adjust plant/equipment control parameters within plant operating guidelines to achieve production and quality targets.
  • Carry out sampling, preparation, and testing of process streams according to approved instructions.
  • Operate mobile equipment (front end loader and forklift) according to standard procedures and as directed.
  • Be the 'eyes and ears' of the business for WHS, production and maintenance purposes.
  • Carry out housekeeping of the plant to ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times.
