We are seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Mechanic to perform scheduled and daily maintenance servicing and inspections of mobile mining earthmoving and ancillary plant equipment.
Main Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
- Conduct accurate lubricant records and machine hours for each piece of equipment.
- Support tradespersons through the maintenance process, promoting safe and efficient operations.
- Identify and report faults/defects and complete service reports using industry-standard tools.
- Operate forklifts as required to move equipment around the workshop or site.
- Australian recognised Heavy Mobile Plant trade certificate with post-trade experience.
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (FL), Dogging (DG), Rigging (RG), Working at Heights (WAH), Confined Spaces (CSE).
- Strong computer literacy and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
- Experience in maintenance servicing of heavy equipment, including mobile plant and ancillary units.
