About the Role

The Tennis League Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of Territory Leagues. This involves coordinating venue operations and delivering high-quality weekly matches. Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming teams and allocating resources to facilitate efficient match progression.
  • Inspecting courts to guarantee they are ready for play, notifying teams of any wet weather or unplayable conditions.
  • Providing supervision during matches, resolving on-court issues, and assigning officials as needed.
  • Communicating weekly incidents, injuries, or challenges to the Competitions & Tournaments Manager.
  • Evaluating competition structures and procedures, suggesting improvements to enhance overall performance.
  • Maintaining accurate records of match results within the League Manager system.
About You

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to new software systems.
  • Strong leadership qualities, initiative, and the capacity to motivate teams.
  • Familiarity with Tennis scoring rules, regulations, and etiquette.
  • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Flexibility in working hours and arrangements.
