Job Title: Territory League Supervisor

Overview:

As a Territory League Supervisor, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering Territory Leagues on a weekly basis. You will create a welcoming environment for players, parents, and spectators.

  • Upon arrival, greet teams and allocate balls while directing them to match courts.
  • Inspect all courts to ensure they are ready for play, and notify teams of any wet weather or other unplayable conditions.
  • Supervise the venue during matches, assist with resolving on-court matters, and assign Team Supervisors to adjudicate if required.
  • Communicate any weekly incidents, injuries, or issues to the Competitions & Tournaments Coordinator.
  • Evaluate competition structure and/or procedures, and suggest improvements where necessary.
  • Enter all match results into League Manager.

This is a casual position that will be rostered for specific weeks during the Tennis NT Territory Leagues Seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

You will require exceptional people management skills, the ability to demonstrate initiative, prioritize tasks, and deal with conflict.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Tennis scoring, the Rules of Tennis, and Tennis Etiquette and Rules for Non-Umpired Matches.
