Food and Beverage Attendant

Part-time role providing exceptional service in various Food and Beverage areas including buffet restaurants, lobby bars, poolside cafes, room service, and functions.

This role involves taking food and beverage orders, maintaining stock requirements, setting up and packing down of restaurant, bar, and function rooms. It also requires responsible service of alcohol and adhering to food safety procedures while maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

  • Take food and beverage orders and handle cash transactions effectively.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menus and specials.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to meet shift demands.
  • Set up and pack down of restaurant, bar, and function rooms as required.
  • Provide responsible service of alcohol and adhere to legislated health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain the workplace in a clean and hygienic manner at all times.
  • Demonstrate effective teamwork qualities and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate is essential.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in cocktail bars, à la carte restaurants, and functions is desirable.
