Opportunity for Data Engineer to Enhance Research Efficiency

The Snow Centre for Immune Health is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to contribute to designing and implementing bioinformatics pipelines and data management tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Open-source contributions: Provide links to GitHub or similar, with descriptions of your role
  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in bioinformatics, computational sciences, or equivalent experience
  • Technical proficiency in Python, R, cloud technologies, containers, HPC systems like Slurm or PBS, workflow systems such as Nextflow, Prefect.io, CWL, etc., bioinformatics, and research experience in data-intensive life sciences
