Key Responsibilities of the Legal Secretary:

We are in search of a diligent and skilled Secretary to provide outstanding support to Partners and Associates within the Employment, Immigration, and Data Privacy and Cyber practice groups. This position demands an individual who can serve as the primary point of contact for clients, oversee billing and credit control processes, and ensure the efficient execution of daily administrative tasks.

  • Manage and coordinate billing and credit control activities, including drafting billing requests, managing narratives, and following up on outstanding invoices.
  • Organize and oversee meetings, ensuring all necessary arrangements and materials are in place.
  • Assist with client communications, document preparation, and various administrative duties as required.
  • Support marketing efforts, including event preparation and coordination.
  • Contribute to team development by sharing insights and mentoring junior staff members.
  • Work closely with colleagues across departments to guarantee seamless service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Secretary, preferably within the legal or financial sectors.
  • Prior experience in billing and credit control is advantageous, though we welcome applications from Legal Secretaries or Administrators eager to learn.
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload and provide support to multiple team members under pressure.
  • Proactive and confident in exercising judgment to meet client and team needs.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with document and practice management systems, with training provided as necessary.
