Job Title: Compassionate Caregiver

Description: Seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to join our team at Footscray Residential Aged Care Facility. As a valued member of our clinical team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Your expertise in supporting Registered Nurses with the delivery of safe and contemporary clinical care will make a significant difference in the lives of our older people.

Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on Care: Provide thorough assessments, ensure exceptional reporting, and contribute to comprehensive care plan evaluations for residents.
  • Care Delivery: Ensure high-quality resident care in accordance with current care plans, promoting best practice interventions that lead to positive health outcomes.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with Registered Nurses to support the delivery of safe and contemporary clinical care.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience: Recent experience in caring for high-care and dementia residents.
  • Skills: Knowledge of wound care, palliative care, behaviour management, clinical assessments, and care planning.
