Job Description

Gain hands-on experience in the emerging Australian industry of renewable energy engineering through our internship program. This opportunity allows you to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare solar designs and quotations using software such as Aurora Solar and PVSell. You will be responsible for creating accurate and efficient designs that meet customer requirements.
  • Develop in-house competencies to estimate commercial battery storage. This involves analyzing data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions to optimize storage capacity.
  • Review quotations and tender sales and profit growth opportunities. You will be working closely with senior project engineers to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase sales and profits.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers, installers, and customers along with senior project engineers. Effective communication and teamwork are essential in this role, as you will be working with various stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Conduct technical due diligence of proposed and existing solar and wind energy systems. This involves evaluating the feasibility of projects, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in design software such as HelioScope, Aurora Solar, PVSell, and AutoCAD. You should have a strong understanding of solar energy systems and be able to create accurate designs and proposals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards and Design Codes is highly desirable.
