This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced leader to join our practice as a full-time Practice Manager. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, including communications, procedures, and business services.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage employee relations, including recruitment, workforce planning, rosters, health and wellbeing, recognition awards, people performance, training, and development.
  • Drive customer experience and client loyalty through engagement, marketing, digital services, social media, complaint resolution, and compliments.
  • Oversee financial performance, stock control, procurement, accounts, budgets, and profit and loss.
  • Ensure work health and safety compliance, facilities maintenance, assets, equipment, cleaning, and presentation standards are met.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Leaders to uphold industry standards, innovation, clinical governance, and strategic direction.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in a practice leadership or head nurse role in a veterinary or animal-related field.
  • Commitment to high standards of service excellence and clinical care.
  • Experience with practice management systems or appointment book management skills, being computer confident.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills.
  • Good understanding of people and employment obligations.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Interest in change championing and project management.
