About the Role

This is a key opportunity to support existing small business owners and job seekers navigate the world of self-employment.

The role involves delivering a range of programs under our Self-Employment Assistance Program, working with participants who are exploring self-employment as well as existing small business owners and operators looking for additional support and advice.

As a dedicated regional Business Mentor, you will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the national program delivery, ensuring all administrative aspects are completed in the required timeframes and to a high professional standard.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that program delivery is in accordance with all contractual and compliance requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a range of programs under the Self-Employment Assistance Program.
  • Work with participants exploring self-employment and existing small business owners and operators.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of national program delivery.
  • Ensure all administrative aspects are completed in the required timeframes.
  • Evaluate program delivery against contractual and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Proven customer service and administration skills.
  • Able to build successful relationships and work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  • Previous experience in providing exceptional customer service and administration.
  • Solid computer literacy skills.
