We develop partnerships with government agencies and non-government organisations to provide unpaid work opportunities for individuals as part of their community-based sentence.
A Field Officer's primary responsibility is to supervise clients at community work sites, ensuring they complete tasks safely and efficiently. This involves performing site inspections, assessing hazards, providing health and safety advice, and maintaining equipment.
In this role, you will also have the opportunity to build rapport with clients, manage conflicts, and model appropriate behaviors and attitudes. Your ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate tasks, and ensure a safe environment for work teams is essential.
Some desirable skills for this position include carpentry or handyman skills, gardening landscaping or painting skills, computer skills, written communication skills, and the ability to drive a 12-seater bus with trailer.
