Job Overview:

The role of Global Database DevOps Leader involves delivering business outcomes for 5000 databases.

Key Objectives:
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning
  • Maintain databases securely and efficiently
  • Leverage commercial tooling for self-service management

Fundamental Requirements:

  • A strong background in databases, including Postgres, Oracle, and others on AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms
  • Proficiency in DevOps principles, such as CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
  • Programming skills in Java, TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting
  • Experience managing large teams and geographically distributed staff
