Cost Assurance AnalystJob Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cost Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team in support of exciting defence projects for the Commonwealth of Australia. This role involves undertaking qualitative and quantitative cost assurance activities across various projects/programs, synthesizing information, and extracting strategic level briefing knowledge from analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake cost assurance activities across a range of functions
  • Synthesize information and extract strategic level briefing knowledge from qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Prepare executive governance briefings in accordance with Defence policies and procedures
  • Lead or coordinate monthly governance and reporting
  • Identify and implement mitigation strategies to manage risks, issues, and opportunities relating to governance of programmatic objectives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or a minimum of 8 years relevant industry experience
  • Experience in a CASG/Defence/Defence Industry environment
  • Previous experience with Defence governance and assurance platforms (PPRIP, MRM)
  • Strong understanding of Defence systems (financial, budget, capability requirements deliver plans)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
