Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist

Aurizon Bulk Central is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer to join their Infrastructure Management team.
As an Engineer in the Infrastructure Team, you will be responsible for leading the Asset Management of Railway Infrastructure throughout Aurizon Bulk Central rail networks in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
The role offers a challenging opportunity to work on over 1,000 km of railway networks, with key depot locations at Darwin, Alice Springs, Adelaide, Thevenard, Whyalla, and Port Augusta.
You will report to the Infrastructure Manager and work alongside other Engineers to strategize and prioritize infrastructure maintenance and renewals/replacements.
Additionally, you will collaborate with Track Superintendents to provide guidance and prioritize the delivery of maintenance works and emergency recovery works.
This role requires a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
You can expect to spend around 25% of your time on various tasks related to the role.

- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
