Landscape Architect Subdivisions Job

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Architect to work on subdivision landscape and urban design plans.

  • Preparing assessments of subdivision landscape and urban design plans, achieving quality outcomes through collaboration with developers and consultants.
  • Negotiating with internal and external parties to achieve great open space and public realm outcomes.
  • Collaborating with all parties involved in open space and public realm to ensure consistent design responses for the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing subdivision landscape and urban design plans for conformity with Council policies and requirements.
  • Evaluating landscape plans and developing effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Critiquing landscape and urban design plans to achieve quality outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture or relevant field.
  • Understanding of principles and practice of design as it relates to public open space, community, environmental, social and economic development.
  • Experience in assessing plans, technical drawings, specifications, plant species etc. for formal endorsement.
