Research Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Research Ethics and Governance team.
This role requires a strong understanding of research governance, human research ethics, and clinical trials. The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in science, health, or a relevant field, as well as experience in clinical research governance and human research ethics.
- Lead the Research Ethics and Governance team to ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures;
- Support the Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) and ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines;
- Develop and implement research governance strategies to ensure high-quality, timely advice and review processes;
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Research Ethics and Governance team;
- Support the HREC;
- Develop and implement research governance strategies;
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in science, health, or a relevant field;
- Experience in clinical research governance and human research ethics;
- Strong understanding of research governance and human research ethics;
