Job Title:

Financial Accountant

Job Description:

This newly created position supports the finance team in delivering accurate and timely management and financial reporting. The role involves preparing month-end journals, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and managing project claims.

The successful candidate will work alongside a Financial Lead, Accountant, and Assistant Accountant in a collaborative environment that requires someone confident to work independently once settled.

A proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail are essential, particularly given the role's heavy use of Excel.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in project accounting, cost control, financial reconciliations, and claims
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF)
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a finance/project environment
  • CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards qualification
