About the RoleAs a Clinical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing outpatient assessment and health promotion services to patients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assess the level of care required for patients and set priorities accordingly, as well as initiating treatment for minor injuries and illnesses.
- Personal integrity and ethical behavior are essential for this role.
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is required.
- 2 years full-time post-registration nursing experience within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent), in an acute care, primary healthcare, or military setting is necessary.
- Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA is required.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification is necessary.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients is essential.
Richmond Health Centre is located at RAAF Base Richmond, the oldest Air Force base in NSW, 50 km north-west of Sydney. The facility provides primary medical, aviation medical, outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services to Defence members.
