Physiotherapy Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.

The role involves delivering physiotherapy programs to meet the diverse physical needs of residents, including daily preparation of treatment areas, setting up equipment, and completing associated documentation.

To be successful you will need:

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or equivalent
  • A Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or another relevant qualification
  • Previous experience in the design and development of physiotherapy programs (desirable)

This is a part-time role working 8 hours per week on Mondays and Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implementing physiotherapy programs within a group setting or one-to-one as directed by a physiotherapist
  2. Assisting and motivating residents to maintain their independence
  3. Daily preparation of treatment areas, setting up equipment, and completing associated documentation
