About the role
This position is a permanent full-time role in the Major Projects team, based at Moruya. The successful candidate will be responsible for competently operating mobile items of plant and attachments and assist the Construction Coordinator and Assistant Works Supervisors to achieve a safe and well organised project/activity.
The starting salary for this position is $2,465.49 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation.

About You
Do you have skills and experience in a construction or maintenance environment operating a backhoe and various items of plant, such as trucks, rollers, tractors and small plant? Our Major Projects team needs a committed and willing team member with an understanding of plant capabilities and outputs used in Council's maintenance and construction activities. To be successful, your application should further demonstrate the following:
- Willingness and ability to successfully undertake physical labouring tasks associated with Council's maintenance and construction activities.
- Willingness to successfully complete recognised training opportunities.
- Sound oral and written workplace communication skills together with sound literacy and numeracy skills.
