Product Data Science Role

Xero is automating routine tasks, surfacing actionable insights and connecting businesses with the right data, advisors and apps.

The data team creates, manages and delivers various data services and products including core reporting, key data dimensions, analytical data processing and storage facilities, machine learning frameworks and API driven prediction services.

They lead the work to raise data and AI literacy levels across Xero and are the centre of expertise for data architecture, data modelling, machine learning, ethical data usage and artificial intelligence service design.

In this role, you will refine tough problems with scientific thinking, algorithms and analytical data processing.

  • Immerse yourself in Xero's data and contribute to our shared understanding of the value contained in our data stores.
  • Apply sound scientific methods to drive product development and deliver measurable impact through experimentation.
  • Maintain and operate end-to-end pipelines that support data-intensive applications at Xero.

You will work with colleagues in the data team and subject matter experts from across the business.
